PRELUDE “Where’re You Walk” Matilda Phillippy
CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader: We are chosen children of God, bound together by the Holy Spirit.
People: We belong to God, and through God, we belong to one another.
Leader: As we gather to remember the saints who formed us in the faith,
we give thanks for their living witnesses to God’s love, showing us
that:
People: We belong to God, and through God, we live as family in Christ,
bound together by Love.
Leader: We give thanks for the influence of the saints in our lives who
demonstrated God’s love and saving grace, so that we could know in
our bones that:
People: We belong to God, and through God, we are saved to love one
another.
Leader: Come, let us worship God who blesses us with witnesses to divine love that
we may be witnesses of Love with everyone we meet.
People: We come to worship God who chooses us, empowers us, and inspires
us to live as witnesses of Love in communion with the saints of every

PRAYER OF CONFESSION
All-merciful, tender God, you have given birth to our world, conceiving and
bearing all that lives and breathes. We come to you as your daughters and
sons, aware of our aggression and anger, our drive to dominate and
manipulate others. We ask you to forgive us, and by the gentle touch of your
Spirit help us to find a renewed sense of compassion, that we may truly live
as your people in service to all. Amen.
